Understanding the Basics
Stroke Facts
If you or your loved one recently suffered a stroke, you are not alone. In the United States alone, someone has a stroke every 40 seconds, and over 795,000 people have a stroke every year...
A stroke, or cerebrovascular accident, can be caused by blood clots and broken blood vessels in the brain. Strokes often lead to a variety of physical challenges depending on the location and extent of brain tissues that were affected by this loss of blood flow.
Imago Rehab recognizes that stroke is the leading cause of long-term disability, and we are passionate about supporting our patients' recovery. It's never too late to get started and reach your goals.
